I work with wood.
Mostly with old wood — fallen trees, broken trunks, roots that have already lived their life. I never cut living trees.
For almost twenty years, wood has been my language.
My sculptures are meant to be touched. I encourage people to feel the surface, the various structure of the wood and experience the physical presence of the material.
I love communicating with people. I create spaces where people can slow down without fear of judgment. Spaces where they can touch, breath and reconnect with themselves.
I have formal pedagogical training and work as an educational assistant supporting children with learning and behaviour difficulties. I am interested in understanding what happened to them to behave the way they do. I lead workshops in ceramics, woodcraft and mosaic for children and adults.
